First Time Client Experience

This First Time + Transfer Client Experience includes a Hair + Scalp Analysis (HASA), scalp detox, 3 hydro washes, hair mist + moisture sealant, and a personalized haircare plan to help stabilize and support the long-term health of your locs. Most retie + wash appointments are completed within 2–3 hours. This service was created specifically for transfer clients needing a healthier foundation moving forward. Services requiring up to 3 hours are $321. Additional time is billed at $107 per hour. Hair below shoulder length is +$20. Future maintenance appointments typically range from $214–$400+ depending on loc size, density, hair behavior, lifestyle, and maintenance needs. Clients with active lifestyles or hair prone to slippage may require longer appointments for reinforcement. We do not “milk the clock.” Services begin on time and are performed efficiently while prioritizing the integrity and health of your locs.

New Client Loc Install Consultation

$50.00 deposit required

Required for all new clients beginning their loc journey with Locs By Steph B. Includes a full hair and scalp assessment, discussion of your loc goals and lifestyle, method recommendation (retwist, interlocking, two strand twist, braided or crochet), and confirmation of your install pricing and timeline. If you choose to move forward the balance of $150 is due to 1) secure your install dates and 2) receive test locs. This gives us an idea of which locking pattern works best for you. Install quotes are good for 30 days. Clients are encouraged to utilize our install pricing calculator before scheduling this appointment.

🌟 Must schedule first time client experience if you’ve never been to our salon before. Every retie appointment at Locs By Steph B is a full service experience — not just a tighten and go. Your maintenance appointment includes: • Clarifying wash • Hydration wash • Hair mist • Moisture sealer • Retie Once you’re on a schedule, your appointments are predictable, on time, and thorough. No waiting. No rushing. Just a reliable appointment every 6 weeks that keeps your roots neat, your scalp healthy, and your locs progressing exactly the way they should. And because your haircare education doesn’t stop at the chair — you’ll always leave with the guidance you need to maintain your results and meet your hair goals between visits. Add-ons available: deep conditioners, scalp treatments, and styles can be added to any appointment at an additional cost. Rate after your selected time is $107 per hour. $150 per hour for repair work. Note that those with higher density will require longer reties

Repairs & Restoration

Loc repairs: bunching, slippage (middle and end of loc/holes, slippage at the root, breakage + thinning. Slippage at the root must be completed during your retightening session. Rates are per hour. All other repair services require a separate appointment from your retie date.

DIY Loc Support Tier #1

Professional loc assessments for the DIY girlie who needs to know she’s on track. Includes 2 onsite visits per year @1hr + scalp observation + personalized care plan. Maryland only. $45/mo (3 Month Minimum). Your first step is the intake questionnaire. Link in bio. We look forward to supporting your journey. TERMS: Minimum 3-month commitment required. Cancellations require 30 days' written notice. Cancellations before the 3-month minimum result in the remaining balance being due in full. Months already billed are non-refundable. Re-enrollment requires a $40 reinstatement fee.
